Pattern Recognition was shortlisted for the Holyrood Station Art Glass project for the Edmonton Valley Light Rail.
The proposal depicts silhouettes of a plains bison, great horned owl, lodgepole pine and pair of sturgeon. These symbols, combined with graphic and vibrant patterns, were chosen for their significance to this region. The symbols and patterns are woven together; drawn from the land, its history, and the people who have lived there. Each pair of panels represents Earth, Air, Fire and Water respectively.
